Amidst all of the excitement of last nights podcast there is some news to report today.

The Flyers have re-signed restricted free agent forward Harry Zolnierczyk to a 1 year 2-way contract worth $600,000.

Known has Harry “Z”, Zolnierczyk scored 3 goals, 6 points, and 35 penalty minutes in 37 games last season for the Flyers. He figures to be an injury call up for Philadelphia. Zolnierczyk scored his first National Hockey League goal in his first NHL game against the Ottawa Senators last October.

The Flyers now only have 2 restricted free agents left to sign, Jake Voracek being one and Marc-Andre Bourdon being the other. Whether or not a deal gets done with Voracek depends heavily on Shea Weber.
