Earlier today, the National Hockey League reached an agreement to send its players to Sochi for the 2014 Olympics. That announcement led to the releasing of the schedule for the 2013-14 NHL regular season.

The league’s plan for re-alignment will be going into effect this season. The Philadelphia Flyers will now be competing in the Metropolitan Division. A complete division chart is below.

The Flyers will kick off the 2013-14 season on October 2 at the Wells Fargo Center. They will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs at 7:30 p.m. The complete schedule is below:
